Tsetsebe / Damaliscus lunatus

Habitat: |
It is not a common species. A beautiful, strong animal with a specific shape of the horns. Its natural habitat where it is also widely spread, is the Zambezi valley – Zambia, Botswana and Zimbabwe. |

Size: |
A typical male is about 120 cm. tall at the withers and weighs up to 140 kg. and a female weighs up to 120 kg. |

Habits: |
Gathers in herds. |

Hunting advice: |
Most often it is hunted on land by stalking or at drinking places. Aim at the chest. |

Caliber: |
We recommend a caliber of minimum .30-06 with 11,7-bullet. |

Trophy: |
The horns. A chest mount is very beautiful. We do not recommend preparation in Africa. The record of a horn is 47 cm. |

Location: |
In all hunting destination we offer in Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Mozambique. We recommend hunting Tsetsebe in Zimbabwe – Rwanzi – where we have harvested our largest and most beautiful trophies and where the species’ population is the largest. |
