Habitat: |
An antelope emblematic of the RSA savannas. A beautiful and strong animal. Its natural habitat is Namibia and RSA, where it ranges in great numbers. |
Size: |
A typical male is about 120 cm tall at the withers and weighs up to 180 kg. |
Habits: |
Forms large herds. A solitary animal is rather an exception. |
Hunting advice: |
It is most often hunted by stalking on land or by drinking pools. A species very difficult to hunt. Aim at the chest. |
Caliber: |
We recommend a minimum caliber of.30-06 with 11,7-gram bullet. |
Trophy: |
Horns and tail; some process the skin, too, but we do not consider it fit. We do not recommend taxidermy preparation in Africa. The record of a horn is 70 cm. |
Location: |
In all hunting destinations we offer in Namibia and RSA. We recommend White-tailed Wildebeest hunt in the RSA savannas – it is there where we have harvested our largest and most beautiful trophies and the numbers of the species there is considerable. |
