In the bush, on the territory of the entire country. Most often encountered in the Northern part. |

Lions are nocturnal animals. They hunt as a group. Not especially aggressive animals, they will attack with a lightning speed should their sanitary minimum be trespassed. |
|
Hunting advice: |
It is mainly hunted by bait. If you suddenly chance on it in the bush and the animal is too close, aim at the head. From a distance, we recommend that you shoot at the chest. The Lion is known as the King of animals not only because of its kingly appearance but because it is a killing machine. |
|
Caliber: |
Anything over 7 mm. kills the Lion. It does not require a hard point even if shoot frontally. We recommend at least 9,3x62mm with at least 18,5-gram soft point bullet for a better stopping effect. |
|
Trophy: |
The skull and skin. You may also have it prepared as a full mount or a carpet. We don’t recommend preparation in Africa. |
|
Location: |
Roams in all territories we organize hunts in in Zimbabwe, Mozambique, RSA, Botswana, Zambia and Tanzania. The chance to harvest a Lion in Namibia is negligible. |
