Habitat: |
A common species. A beautiful, strong and swift animal with a specific lira-like shape of the horns. Its natural habitat, where it is also widely spread, is the savannas of Namibia, Botswana and Northern RSA. |

Size: |
A typical male is about 80 cm tall at the withers and weighs up to 40 kg., a female weighs up to 30 kg. |

Habits: |
Forms large herds. When hit in the body, jumps very high. A very fast antelope. |

Hunting advice: |
Most often, it is hunted on land by stalking or at drinking places. Aim at the chest. |

Caliber: |
We recommend a caliber of minimum .30-06 with a 11,7-gram bullet. |

Trophy: |
The horns. A chest mount is very beautiful. We do not recommend taxidermy preparation in Africa. The record of a horn is 50 cm. |
